Favorite tactile with the best haptic feedback and excellent sound profile

The stock version of Baby Kangaroo are my favorite, satisfying, springy, tactile switches. They are my favorite switches in general and they are go perfectly with the Epomaker F75 Ultra.

However, I might have tried the option where you can order them hand lubed, but unfortunately, Thock King does not specify what specific parts of the switch they will lube and not lube, which is important, since it is crucial to avoid certain parts of the switch to maintain the tactile sensation. But, it turns out they were perfect when they arrived stock, so no big deal.

In my opinion, Baby Kangaroo dual stage springs give the most satisfying feel because both the down stroke AND the up stroke are much more responsive in satisfying haptic feedback than single stage spring switches. These have an excellent operating force for someone like me who likes more deliberate, relatively stronger keystrokes, and has larger hands that would otherwise accidentally depress lighter switches.

In real life, these have a slightly brighter, crisper sound profile compared to Boba UT4 (my second favorite switch). In real life, Boba UT4 sounds like a slightly deeper thock but unfortunately much more muted, flat, and dispersed (unless you want that) while Baby Kangaroo sounds like a clearer and more pronounced thock.

Boba UT4 feels much less tactile, in my opinion, compared to Baby Kangaroo, since Baby Kangaroo gives more distinct haptic feedback, and that's saying a lot since Boba UT4 is known to some for standing out among tactile switches.

The Baby Kangaroos arrived in perfect condition, installed perfectly, and made a huge difference in my Epomaker F75 Ultra for the best feel and sound.

Thank you Thock King!

just right (lubrication makes it even better!)

I had some Baby Kangaroos on my work keyboard, and I finally decided to make my home keyboard match, only this time with Thockking's lubrication service. It really makes a difference! I'm very happy with the Baby Kangaroos, they're just the right amount of tactile for me.

Good, Great Once Hand-Lubed

Coming off of Cherry MX Browns, which had been my go-to for years, these were a little heavier than I was used to. However, they are pleasantly bouncy, and while the bump is more pronounced than the MX Browns (not hard to do, as I understand it) I didn't find it fatiguing. It didn't take long for me to actively enjoy typing with those switches, even if generally I lean lighter. Overall, I consider this within range of my tactile weight tolerance, if at the edge.

While they do come factory lubed, I took the advice on the website after a couple of weeks and added a thin layer of Tribosys 3203. Though individually I didn't notice much difference in feel and sound, when I had finished up and started typing for real both experiences were noticeably better.
