Gateron Oil King Yellow Heavy Tactile Switches

Description

The Oil King Yellow is the tactile version of the linear Oil King already on the site. Gateron kept the black nylon top, ink bottom, yellow POM stem, and factory lube, then added a sharp bump and a 20mm black-plated spring. They call it a heavy tactile at 60g, but Milktooth’s measurement is closer to 50g at the bump and 65g at bottom-out, with travel stopping around 3.2–3.4mm instead of the linear’s 4mm. That shorter stroke is why it sounds brighter than a stock Oil King linear: a deep clack, not the muted thock. This is not the silent Oil King. That one is purple, and the LEDs here are plug-in only.
