Clicky switches are a choice you make on purpose. You want the key to talk back. The fun part is that TTC Brother V2 and Kailh Box Jade Crystal do not talk back in the same voice.
Brother V2, also called the Golden Blue V2, is the light one. A torsion-spring click, an early snap, and a sound like a fine ballpoint pen. Box Jade Crystal is the sharper one. Same Box Jade click people already know, in an all-clear body, and the click itself comes through harder and cleaner than the regular Box Jade.
Same category. Different job. The table holds the numbers. The rest is which click you actually want under your fingers.

TTC Brother V2 — the light, early snap
Brother V2 clicks with a torsion spring. You meet the snap early, at 1.6mm, while the key still has travel left. It is a light press, 42g to operate, and the peak of that snap sits at 58g. Then a long 22mm spring brings the stem back without making you fight the return.
The sound is the specific part. It is a crisp click, the kind you get from a fine ballpoint pen. Dampening in the switch keeps that click isolated: the housing ping stays down, the bottom-out stays softer, and the click itself stays crisp.
The stem is blue POM in a partial-box, dustproof shape. The housing is clear polycarbonate, top and bottom, with a light-diffuser lens in the top, so RGB comes through without the housing tinting it.
It is $5.45 for 10. Buy it when you want the click early, light, and clean, with a pen-click sound and a housing that lets the LEDs through.
Kailh Box Jade Crystal — the sharper click
Box Jade Crystal is the click you buy when the click is the point, and you want that click brighter than the regular Box Jade.
The body is all clear. RGB does not have to fight an opaque housing to get out. That is the obvious reason people pick the Crystal. The other reason is the sound. Crystal versions generally have a sharper tone than the regular Box Jade. The click is more pronounced. You get the clear look and a harder, cleaner click in the same switch.
The weight is the medium Box Jade weight: 50g at actuation, 60g at the bottom. The click shows up at 1.8mm, and the stroke is a short 3.6mm, so the key finishes almost as soon as it has announced itself. It is rated for 80 million presses.
Same price as the Brother, $5.45 for 10. You are choosing the click, not a discount.
A clicky switch is loud on purpose. The Crystal version is that, with the edge turned up. At your own desk, that sharper click is the appeal. In a shared room or on a call, you are choosing the volume along with the switch.
